Sulkhan Metreveli, Lic. Phil. is a Research Assistant and Teaching Associate in the Division on Media Change & Innovation at the Institute of Mass Communication and Media Research (IPMZ), University of Zurich. Prior to joining IPMZ, he was research assistant at the KOF Swiss Economic Institute of the Swiss Federal School of Technology (ETH), Zurich.


Sulkhan Metreveli studied journalism at the University of  Tbilisi, Georgia. He also studied communication science and international law at the University of Zurich. He has an M.A. in Mass Communication Research.


Sulkhan Metreveli specializes in computer-assisted online and offline content analysis. His research interests are mediatisation, framing, media effects, media economy, political communication and media impact on financial markets.
